Profile and learning on your device
The app stores your profile, your progress, your own flashcards and other information you enter locally on your device. You do not need an account with us. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking. The bundled learning content is available offline.
Reminders
If you switch on the daily reminder in the app, your device schedules the notification itself at the time you choose. The app asks your operating system for permission; nothing is sent and no server is involved. You can switch the reminder off at any time in the app settings.
Voice and answers
Microphone recording and reading aloud are disabled in store release 181. You can type your answers; they stay on your device. This release does not start a speech service for recording or reading aloud.
Purchases and restoring
Purchases and restoring earlier purchases are handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play and need an internet connection. The store processes the account and payment information required for this under its own privacy policy. The app receives a purchase confirmation to unlock the full version. You never enter payment details with EHV GmbH.
Learning content and app updates
The first store release (build 181) includes the learning content on your device. Changes are delivered through app updates in the App Store or Google Play. Direct content downloads from the EHV server are disabled in this store release. Purchases, restoring purchases and websites you choose to open may still require an internet connection.
Earlier test versions and content downloads
Earlier test versions up to build 180 may include an optional content download in Settings. Public files at Hostinger are requested only when you trigger that feature. This transmits your IP address and the general channel name (User-Agent), which is the same for everyone; your profile, learning progress and answers are not transmitted. This description concerns the existing test channel, not an enabled channel in store release 181.
Sources and external links
When you open a source link, the external website is loaded. Its operator may process technical connection data such as your IP address. Those websites are governed by their operators’ privacy policies.
Device backup and deletion
The app does not send your learning data to any server of EHV GmbH. Your operating system may include app data in a device backup. You delete local learning data in the app under Settings → «Delete everything». Deleting does not cancel a store purchase.
This website
This website sets no cookies, loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers and contains no analytics.
Hosting and technical connection data
This website is hosted by Hostinger. When you open a page, the hosting service receives technical connection data, such as your IP address and the requested page. Hostinger’s public hosting documentation describes access logs and deriving a country from IP addresses. It does not establish the actual storage or retention period for this website, so we do not state an unverified deletion deadline. For access or deletion requests, you can use the contact below. Visiting the website is separate from the disabled content channel in store release 181.
